The program committee accepts scientific papers on the stated conference themes with a focus on the SREB region. Active participation in the conference is invited via presentation of a paper or poster, or through workshop attendance. Accepted papers in English will be reviewed published in the proceedings volume of conference, and expanded versions of up to 12 articles will be invited for additional review with the goal of publishing a special issue of the Journal of Arid Land (http://link.springer.com/journal/40333) in 2018. We request to disseminate this CFP to all interested GIS educators and professionals.
The conference will offer a unique, open platform to the scientific community in the fields of geographic information science and technology, and as well as environment and ecology to exchange and share their discoveries and research advancements, and to discuss related scientific topics in the region.
All scientists, professionals, and research students are cordially invited to participate in the conference, where we expect active discussions on newest research results, innovative ideas on potential research topics and ground-breaking suggestions for future international cooperation along Silk Road.
